I'm sorry, but i just have to ask. Are you sure you are in neutral?? And if so is the clutch in? Try push starting your bike like i had to do while i was building it. Run with it in neutral hop on and pop it into second.

yeah I'm in neutral. and I can push start it. so today I put in the old battery and it started and rode around and seemed to work time. so i'm confused now, but atleast it's working for now.

If your in nuetral you dont need to pull the clutch in. If your in gear with the clutch out it would click once turn off your head light like it was going to start, but it wouldn't since your in gear with the clutch out.

Dude is discribing a battery which keeps dying on him after he rides it once.

Maybea starter relay gone bad? Check your owner's manual for location.
