just picked up a black 2007 CBR600RR and i am looking to enhance its appearance with a red chrome sportech windscreen. i am wondering if anyone has seen the red windscreen/black bike combination, and if so, does the chrome cover the small running light at the bottom of the windscreen or is it still visible?

also wondering how you think the color scheme would look. thanks.

 

I have an '05 but I'm pretty sure that it wouldn't cover the "3rd eye" up. As far as the red-n-black, ummm, yeeeeeah, I'm not a big fan but it's what YOU like. Just remember, the Sportechs hace 2 kinds of chrome screens. The transparent ones you can still see through, but they're not as chrome as the "solid backed" ones are. Problem with those (solid back), you can't see through them at all. Which if you do any track days, you'd regret buying one. I'd go with the transparent one. It looks good yet is still "safe" and beneficial.
