I used the GPS method. What I did was mount a GPS on my bike so I could see it while I rode on the highway. I used big rubber bands so it was a very temporary mount. At 70MPH indicated on my bikes speedometer I noted what the GPS read. I then took those two figures, 70 and the GPS speed, and inserted them into speedohealers calculation program. The SH computer program will then give you a step by step process to program the speedohealer itself.
There are different GPS’s out there and some won’t give you an accurate calculation if you are on a curve so try to take your readings on a trait line.
