Used speedohealer?
ok, after reading some more posts, and realizing how far off my speedo is, i decided i NEED to get a SH
so would u guys recommend buying a used SH, or should i just buy a new one?
i didnt know if anything can really mess up with a speedohealer, since its just plug and play so i figured it would be ok to get used, but i wasnt sure so i figured id ask you guys.
thanks.

RE: Used speedohealer?
I ordered mine from Brad at superbike supply. He will give you a discount if you mention that you are a member of this forum and he gave me the best price I could find.
PS- I am glad I bought the speedohealer- it was money well spent!
I also bought the extension cable with the button that recalls your top speed. I know, its a squid move, but I like it.

RE: Used speedohealer?
You don't need the cable to get the top speed... just lift the seat and press the button... I like looking at it - even in the winter when I can't ride.
195km/h (~200km/h) was the top speed since I installed it in july... and it was set on a private road course.
Sigh - 2-3 more weeks before I'm back on the road it looks.

RE: Used speedohealer?
thanks, thats a great write up stephens.
Also, ONAROM, if i order off of superbikesupply.com how would i tell Brad im from CBRf?
im lookin to order one as soon as i can so i would like to know how to do this.
EDIT: also, is the little green clip the remote?
the reason im askin is b/c wheni bought the bike the guy lifted up the seat and showed me a cord and said it was for the speedohealer (like he had already ran the wire up to the back seat) but there is no cord that looks like the littl green one
