Default Speed in gears..

Anyone know the max speed per stock gearing?

Specifically I was looking at what the max was for second gear.

Thanks,
Jeff

Um
1.2.3.4.5.6 - said 178 in about.... 15-20 seconds. No joke. I got 2 down 3 up gearing lol

Highest stock i hit was 174mph. took a while to get there too. And it wouldnt go past. I was going down hill for A DAMN LONG TIME in a straight line and it still wouldnt move.????

Your gearing has definitely affected your top end.

I'm going to assume you don't have a speedo recalibrator (since a stock RR wouldn't hit 178mph). With that gearing, your speedo is off by 23%. So this means that you were actually doing 138mph (more likely to be even less since you probably have a stock speedo error compounding this).

Gear Speed Calculator -- I don't know what the values are for your particular model. They'll be in a service manual. Just plug 'em in.

All right -- I found the gearing here -- The Place. They had 6th gear ratio typo -- should be 1.166 not 1.666. I could not find what your limiter is set at so I used 14,000 -- pretty sure it ain't much higher than that.

So here's the breakdown:
1st - 69.1
2nd - 95.1
3rd - 114.35
4th - 130.75
5th - 146.21
6th - 157.99
