SOMEONE TRIED TO STEAL MY BIKE

Just saw this, all you need is a minivan and 2 guys. They have it in the car in less than 10 seconds it seems like. You can forward the video to 3 minutes, theres nothing going on before that.

Don't touch it for fingerprints 2Q????....HA!. You have been watching too much CSI. They are not going to do **** unless your town is different from Denver. You can replace the ignition yourself for around $65....after that chain it to something to make it less convenient to steal. Alarm it too if you can afford to.

do you ever hit up the CC bike nights? let me know maybe we could go riding...
I live in an apartment complex so when I bought my bike I was really worried someone was going to steal my bike. So I went out and bought a chain lock and an inconspicuous cover as well as a cinder block. I got the cinder from homedepot for 1.50 and i wrap the chain through the block and through my frame and rear wheels. Then park the bike in front of my car at nights. I figure if they're going to go thru all that and then still try to steal you know what they can have it lol.
I did the same type of stuff when I was in an area known for a lot of bikes getting taken. Having a new shiny bike draws the wrong kind of attention sometimes. I had a disc lock with alarm, superstrong chain through the frame which was attached to my car (nothing else around), and a cable lock. Parked basically right outside of my window at the apartment complex and I still jumped up every time I heard something strange outside.
The bad thing is, I've heard of guys picking up a hayabusa that was pinned against a wall by a car, trees being cut down, two bikes being taken because they were chained together instead of them just cutting it, same bike stolen twice, and it goes on... if they want it, theyll get it. Lojack is good too but comprehensive insurance is the only way to get back anything when its parts on ebay.
