You'll find many opinions on this subject, but you sure can't go wrong with a Pit Bull stand...

thats perfect right there !!! so easy to work on bike with stands .. hey ~ do i have to buy a nuts order for me to use rear stand ? i saw a threaded spot on both rear swing arms ..maybe thats where i need to hook up the stnad.. kinda hard to see ..pic wasnt close up ..tks

I got a universal one on Ebay for $40 shipped and it works great.

My bike is no where near this clean any more, but the rear stand has the spool adapter and also has the fork lift type if you don't have a spool.



Here's the front:



This is the fork lift type also, but they do have an adaptor or stand that lifts from the bottom of the steering stem if you plan to remove the forks, but I got this type because I'll only be removing the wheels.

im in the market for stands too.I think ive seen em all.Besides the obvious ..is there any advantage to getting both at once...stands that is.

I have the Pit Bull rear stand like Fretless33 and I used it for the first time yesterday and it works great. Extrememly stable and rigid.
