Hey guys wondering which slip-on I should get for my 2012 RR. Either between Akrapovic Evolution or Yoshimura RS5. Akrapovic runs about $700-$800 and fits nicely in place of the stock pipe. The Yoshimura on the other hand is about $500, but all the sample pics show the stock tailights missing. Wondering if anyone had any input as to which is better, whether or not I'd need a power commander also, and any additional mods I'd have to make? Thanks

 

Slip on's are all about personal preference and wallet size, don't worry about performance gains cause they are all alike and very minimal. Akra is the best pipe out there IMO but that quality comes with a price. Yoshi makes a quality pipe but it sticks out way too far past the tail fairing for my liking. If that doesn't bother you then it is a good pipe to get. I've never heard anyone say the don't like their Yosi. I have a Leo Vince and I like it and doesn't stick out past the tail fairing like almost every pipe out on the market but my model is discontinued. Just do your research and you'll find the right one for you.

P.S. the pics you see with the stock taillight missing is because they put a integrated taillight in it.
