Hey guys, this is my first post or anything. I have the opportunity to buy a hotbodies undertail exhaust for $350. Seems like a goof price to me (if not let me know) and i like the looks and from the sound clips sounds good. Only thing is that it is silver and my bike is orange with the black tribal. I can't decide whether this would look good, bad, decent, or ok but only until i can paint it a different color. I am pretty damn new to all this and don't wanna fuss with trying to paint it myself, so to get it a different color i'd have to get someone else to do. ='s more money. let me know what you think, or how i could get it a different color on a budget.

i wont b seen on it so its basically ur choice on this one.....imo tho i wouldnt do it, its a new bike i wouldnt make it a mismatch for an exhaust ..buts thats just me

 

thats what i've been thinking. i dont want to mismatch it. but i also dont want to pay $800+ for it either. if anyone knows of a place that will paint it for me let me know. Black or orange? i dont think black would look bad at all, but since the only black on the bike is in the front, i'm thinking it might look out of place having black in the undertail too. give me some feedback. i really want to know what people think. and yeah it's my bike but honestly who doesn't modify their bike at least a little bit with showing it of to others in mind. final say is definately what i want but you know how it is. hearing good stuff from others will help me make a decision.

 

Do a google search for them. You should be able to find one cheaper than $800 that is painted. When I was looking into one, I think 58cycle.com was one of the cheaper places I found.

I would go with orange.

 

just get it, than sport it till you can get it painted, 350 is a good deal.

 

Its ur bike, its ur call. I would slap it on there, and see if you like it. If not sell it on ebay.

 

If you don't care too much about the look for now you can always spray it w/ a layer of flat black enamel... any painter will just sand down through the clear anyways.

 

i have a 06 orange and black tribal with the hot bodies undertail kit with the hidden exhaust. it looks so good. mines orange but for that price man. i would totaly buy it and paint it yourself. i paid a little over 700 for mine. but that was with the slip on and mid pipe included
