I've never understood why people have it in their minds that they have to redline it at every shift. Don't they realize the bike's torque starts falling off around 8-10K rpms?

actually i dont shift there much which i was wondering if the metals (cylinder walls, rings) were possibly expanding in a slightly different way for just long enough to get a little oil around although i guess white smoke is suppose to be fuel which would mean its running way rich when i let off ......ok so heres what ill do ill throttle with my right hand and hold a grill lighter to it and see if it ignites

lol jk

White smoke is coolant, black smoke is usually fuel, and grey\blue smoke is usually oil.
