Default Set her down

Im so pissed at myself right now. Just set my bike over in the parking spot. I just finished a freakin 12 hour day at work, which I was not planning on. and so whenI pulled up to my spot, somebody had taken it. SoI was going to use a different one thatI had to back into. Well not thinking and paying attention I lost my balance and set her down. I mean I was not moving at all, andI almost caught her, but it was to heavy by the timeI got it. I managed to set it very gently, as to whereI couldnt even hear a thing. The only damage what so ever is on the engine casingI guess it would be. Like the size of a nickle. scratched.

Wherewould you buy oneof those? or how to fix it.

Cant believe what I justdid. I need to hit something. AHHHHH

something like that happened to me, i was turning around and lost balance and had to set her down and scuffed up the engine casing...the only thing i know of what to do is send in the casing to get painted, powder coated or what ever.

Sorry to hear that though...it sucks

OOH either chrome it or leave it - you know the minute it's fixed, something will wind up happening to it...

$115 for a new right cover and your happiness every time you walk up to the bike... (Assuming that's an '07) from CarolinaCycle.com (Plus you could sell your old one, no idea what you'd get, but it would take a bit of the edge off the cost...)

Again,I'd just touch it up - There may be ways a body shop could professionally fix it, however they would probably cost more than that...

Does anybody know if the engine case on the 07's are the same as the 06 and below? or just specifically 07' and 08's?
