Thumbs up Seat pad replacement?

I am looking to replace my stock seat bad with something a little more comfortable. I do not mind the stock one, but on an all day ride, it gets a little uncomfortable and would like something a little softer and easier to ride. Has anyone replaced their seat pad on these bikes? Mine is a 2006. I am going to keep the passenger seat stock.

I have been looking here and really wanting one, but I cannot justify paying that price for a seat pad! http://www.corbin.com/honda/05cbr600rr.shtml

any other thoughts?

The Corbin is worth the money spent. I did it and now wonder why I waited almost two years to replace it

Try looking into a local shop that can do gel inserts or pads. Its much cheaper and you can test out and pick what gel type you want. The place I got mine done at did a great job and also got my passenger seat done with soft sheepskin on top to add comfort. Corbin does look comfortable, but I got my passenger seat done for $90 and front for $150. If you want something inexpensive for long rides, but still want the harder seat for track days or hard riding you can get a custom pad made, around $100 per seat depending on the shop

Thumbs up

Thanks for the help. That is what I need to look into doing for sure. I just don't have the money to spend on a name brand seat even though it would be nice! I will look into getting the seat done.

Thanks.
