Default Screw in my tire! AHH

I have a 2008 cbr 600rr and i got a screw in my rear tire. There is only 800 miles on the bike.. Its still in there and its not leaking air. Is this patchable or do i need to buy a whole new tire? I took it NTB and ask if they could put a plug in it and they said it might ruin the tire and would not do it. Any suggestions

Ya i was mad!!!! Its like dead in the center of my tire. I think im just going to plug/patch it and check it every day for a few weeks. Then keep checking it every week or so.

Could just patch it and do some sweet burnies and just buy a new one!

If you wanna patch it the owner at a local shop said he did that once on his bike. What he did was he took the tire off and ruffed up the inside where the hole was and then put a patch on there. I wouldnt mess with a plug nor use this for long term.

Plugs are all fine and dandy on a car, but when you only have 2 wheels touching the road, you don't want to chance a plug. It's too risky IMO, especially when a new tire is relatively inexpensive.
