uh... Gas with left hand? THats just wrong in every way. Dont hit a pot hole.

You should also try to ride with 1 hand... Put your left forearm on the tank, and cruise. it works. Also if your right hand gets tired, put it on the tank like you did your left one, and cross your hands and hold the gas with your left.

On long rides i throw my legs and body parallel to the ground like im superman and cruise. HELLA comfortable. And stable.

Have black 600rr as well, am ready to skin the cat that tore tha crap out of my paint when I had a cover over the bike. the paint is so thin you can't really use rubbing compound either.

Ive hitten pot holes, and can turn with left hand gasing. Plus I do bout 130+ with the left hand... fully tucked.
I mean, its not much worse than riding backwards lol.

I just got a carbon tank pad for mine and it works great. I got one made my ProGrip that cost $12.95. It should cover up some old scratches and stop new ones.

Try the honda spray dude. I was blown away how mant scratches it took out. When I bought the bike some dumbass at the dealer must have dismounted wrong because there was a huge scratch in the cowl. I tried everything to get it out and my bike is black so scratches on the cowl show very easily. Well, they all came out! Honda spray rocks.

Sorry, no pics yet. I just got from ebay seller. My local shop had some from the same company, they just didn't have the carbon one so i got it on ebay.
