Just finished up my scorpio alarm install...took no more than 45 minutes. Hardest part of the whole thing was getting the tail off. The motion sensor works great i threw a penny next to the bike and it chirped. And this thing is LOUD!!!

 

Sah-weet! So is it basically plug-n-play? What sort of accessories did ya get with it?

 

yeah... any mods of the wiring? And which one did you get.

 

its the I500...i got the factory connector harness and the motion sensor....witht the connector kit, its just unplug the turnsignal and brake like, plug those in the middle....THen you wire up the motion sensor which just connects to the main unit...and bang, your done. Got a sweet deal and this is by far the best alarm you can get.

 

where did you get it and how much does it cost?

 

I want to put an alarm on my 929...my boy has one on his GSX-R 750 that if you touch any part of his bike your ears are gonna hurt. How much did yours cost and did you get it on line or what? If it's that easy to install...i'm for it. Does it have a pager-like remote or what?

 

pager remote...tells you if the bike was shook, tilted, whole bunch of cool crap. I got the whole system with the add ons for 299 shipped...way below what you would normally pay...go to 600rr.net and look for a group buy or a sale on them...guys name is froggie...if you get one, let him know i sent ya...thanks

I don't have an alarm on my current bike, but I did have one on a previous bike and it saved me at least once. It was a cheap Nady motion sensor alarm, but like I said it did thwart at least one thief.
