wanting to know everybodies running temperature on their bike once it is warmed up and on the road. What is your temp after riding for 1-2 hours straight?

 

As in highway riding or in town riding?

170's for casual and back roads riding. Up to 220 sitting at a light, and 200 or so during track days.

Running Engine Ice can help it a bit, but it's not legal for track days.

All I use is water and Water Wetter since I run it on the track too.

 

My temp is around 170-180

 

Yep, and 220 sitting still in summer, but once the fan comes on it never goes higher.

 

I noticed the fan on my friends R6 will stay on if the bike is hot *after* he shuts off the bike. My quad did this as well.Has anyone's RRdone this? Maybe it should since engines ususally heat up before cooling once they are shut off?

 

That never happened to me before.Whenthe fan do go on it cools the motordown pertty fast when I am done riding I am in a decent temp not over heated (no fan running while engine is off).

 

I seen my temp guage get upto 237 when idling at a light on a very hot day, temp light didnt come is that still to high?

 

I saw 228 yesterday at a light normal city driving. I never liked when my DSM went in the 200's. So like stated up there 228 around there ok?
