Heard from a buddy of mine that somebody on the intenet but on 06 tail section on and 07 to get rid of the brake light/mud flap. If anybody has pictures please do post cuz im sure im not the only one that is intrested in changing mine even though i got a bikelitez one on mine now. and where could an OEM rear tail off an 06 be purchased?

It's a 3 step process...
1. Get the 05-06 plastics off E-bay
2. test fit them on your 07
3. let us know if it works.

I'm assuming with the whole redesign of the bike, the subframes have to be different, so some ammount of fabrication will have to be done

it looks like you can just bend the exhaust cannister down a little bit, and then just stuff the 05-06 brake light right there! That is still an '07 tail, (notice the solo cowl) but with the older brakelight. Right on!!

 

You can determine bike years simply by the solo cowl it has on it? lol

 

Honda messed up when they put the brake light in the mud flap, what where they thinking.[:@][:@][:@]

 

The 07 solo cowl has a longer black "hump" on it than the little "pad" on the older model, that makes it easily distinguishable from the 05-06, (plus it doesn't fit quite right on the older tail)
Also notice the factory '07 600RR decals on the side of the tail.

It would be nice to have the extra storage space from the older bike, (even though it was minimal, the 07 has even less) Plus the side vents on the 05-06 tail looked great.

Still the 07 in white is sex on wheels

 

see that look so much better then anything out there, so that is an 07 seat cowl? could u make a step by step on that cuz im sure im not the only one who wants it on there!
