RE: rr's, 03-06... give me the low down
I haven't had the opportunity to ride all the RR's, but I used to have an F4i. I loved my F4i and thought it was the best bike out there. Now, riding my 06 RR, I am in love all over again. You'll end up getting a feel for the bike you buy and you'll feel comfotable on it. For the purpose of street riding and the occassional trip to the track, you can't go wrong with any year or model of Honda!

ahmen on that F4i stuff man, i loved my f4i and hate to get on another bike.... if feel like im cheating.
but i still cant wait cuz i was always jealous of guys with rrs cuz of how tight they are. and because exhaust under the tail is sooooooo much cooler then on your right.
P.S. if you look at bike by time, 2001-2002 f4i is the best bike there is. if you look at those years in other bikes, you see single ugly headlights, bad specs, and fat ole' tails that just suck. other than the ok gsxr, every other manufaturer was smokin crack

RE: rr's, 03-06... give me the low down
Personally i like a mixture between all 3 generations... I like the aggressive look of the 03-06 better than the 07/08... something about those intake tubes... I have an 04 and wish my tail vents were bigger like the 05/06 but I do not like the lock position in the middle of the seat on those years... then I would take the seat and the seating position off the 07/08 to make my dream bike. I know its mostly little things but thats the dream

alright! thats the kinda stuff i wanted to here.
heres the deal.. and yes i know, im lucky. a guy is hooking me up with a pretty good deal. he has an 05 with like 4000 miles and some good stuff on it including sliders, undertail, and a 2 bros, and others. and then a 06 with a yoshi and similar stuff and -1+2. with like 2000 miles. different prices but he is letting me switch and swap basically what i want on the bike that i choose. plus i have some 04s that are cheaper in price but i wasnt sure what to think
thats why i wanted to know from people who have ridden both. they are pretty similar in looks besides different mid section setup and sub frames and tails.. but i wanted to know the riding differences.
thanks for the input

The newer RR's are "better" because Honda keeps re-designing to make them that way...lighter, more power...faster and better handling...
I had an F4i that I loved, but my 2004 RR blows it out the water. If your comfortable in the race rider position, you'll love your RR more thanyour F4i. They are lighter, faster and respond much better than the F4i.
My solid, deep blue color adds at least 10 mph to my top end over the other '04 color schemes.
That said, all Honda's are sweet bikes...that's why we are all on this site.
