Are your gears still stock? Probably around like 5-6 thousand. I don't look at my rpms when I ride. I usually listen to them.

I didnt want to start a new thread so ill just bump my old one.

Owners of 2003 to 2005.

On your fuel gauge it has the bars to indicate how much fuel you have. Ive always gottan fuel when i had 2 bars left. Has anyone pushed it further than that? How much time do you have until your out of fuel if you are on your last bar?

Thanks guys!

PS i recently got my suspension set up for my weight, Wow what a difference. I can really get into my front brakes alot harder now.

I wouldn't put much stock in what others are reading - sometimes the senders can be different, driving styles vary, etc.......

The tank on my F4i (for comparison) is 4.4 gallons - I have been north of 180 miles.

Yea i know i was just looking for a small idea. Not so much fuel mileage but aside from the last bar on the fuel gauge does it give you any other type of alert on the cluster that your low on fuel. I havent pushed my bike that far. My bike has a 4.8 gallon tank, including 0.9-gallon reserve. Its an 03, Does it have an electronic reserve? My buddies 96 has it right on the side of the bike.
