I questioned the thickness too, so I decided to go cheap to make sure I got the thickness I wanted and liked the overall look. Went to Pep Boys and bought a roll of 1/4 inch red pinstrip for $4. One roll was enough to do my whole bike. I was planning on taking it off and ordering the real but can't really see where it would make any difference so I am going to leave as is. Here is a pic of what I have got.

Edit: If you look at this pic in IE the tape doesn't look straight due to resizing issues, but opened in a picture viewer it looks right.

Has anybody tried that reflective tape they have on ebay? I saw it and cought my attention, specially since you can get it on different colors too

Haven't seen reflective. I stay away from reflective stuff, cops don't really like it.

just got my tape today from ebay and put them on in less than 1 hour. totally changed the whole look of the bike----aaawesome!

what thickness did you get. I bought yesterday 1/4". How long did it take for you to get it?

i got the 1/4". it took about 3 days---fast, butr then again i'm from the same state--cali.
i see that your from fl, so you'll probably received it by the end of the week. my tape came through usps.
