Default Result of hitting the twisties during sun down..*PICS*.

LoL it's not that bad but check it out, don't mind the yamaha sticker it's my dads helmet, i use this one till i can afford to get my Shoei Rf-1000 again in a month cause i crashed and trashed the last one.

As soon as the sun started to go down the little bastards came out in tons, Had to borrow my buddies oakleys so i could see.

man i thought it was going to be pics of a wreck! glad it wasn't though!

i know how you feel. i get smothered when i ride at night here and not just with little bugs either. after some rides i see nasty splattered red/yellow/green/you name it bug guts on my jacket & helmet. it's a bitch cleaning it off too! [:@] small price to pay for the joys of riding though

I've seen that look before myself. Too bad too, sundown would be a perfect time to ride if it weren't for the damn bugs.

That's too funny.. same thing happened here yesterday. I had just washed my new bike, and while I was waxing it, these same little bugs started flying all over the place... once I was done, the bike looked dirtier than before...
I rode it back home, my brand new helmet looked just like yours (Shoei X11 Kayagama TC5) [sm=boohoo.gif]

Damn Florida and their bugs! lol

Keep wax on your helmet, your bike. It makes it far easier to get stuff off. Clean it right away after the ride too, cause the longer the guts stay on the harder to remove in some cases. Use 50/50 alchohol + water in a spray bottle on your headlights, and helmet visor. You won't believe how clean it gets them & how much easier to remove bugs.

A bat hit me the other night in the chest. I didn't see it after it was below my helmet upon impact, but fortunately it rolled off at speed. I'm glad he didn't stick, otherwise I might have had to use that 50/50 water and alcohol mix.
