Default Rejetting? Is it needed

I have a jardine slip on and plan on getting a K&N in a day or so. With this done will I need to rejet, and also if I get a PCIII will this fix the issue without having to rejet it. I hear once you start messing with this process it's a never ending battle to find a perfect top end low end mix to be happy with.

There are no jets. Your bike is fuel injected, therefore you have fuel injectors. Unless you plan to drag race or try to set a land speed record you don't need to change your fuel injectors.

What you'd want to do instead is possibly reprogram using the aforementioned PCIII and possibly a high flow air filter. However, the overall value of having a hi-flo filter is an area of much debate on this forum. These mods would be the equivalent of rejetting the carb, a hi-flo filter, and a hi-flo exhaust on a carburated engine.

kiggy74... were you an attorney in a former life? Just checking. By the wording in your post, sounds almost like a legal contract.

I'm use to seeing "that **** we talked about yesterday"... not the aforementioned. Thanks for raising the bar on us....

My apologies.... let me rephrase:

Damn boy. Don't cha no whut fuel injection is?

Ya ain't got no durn jets cause yur ingine ain't got no carburator. What cha need to git is a paur c'mander and one of them fancy air filters. My brother in-law who's also my cuzin got him a paur c'mander for his '92 Ford Festiva and boy it's faster than the dickens.
