I did a quick color change on my rims to see how it looks

Do you guys like it red or black?

 

i think the black with red tapeline looks sharp. all red rims just look kinda tacky to me.

Third. Black with the red tape looks awesome. Much better than the full red IMO.

 

Actually =me too now that I see the red rims on my bike in the pic. I like it black with red rims.

 

I like it all red better! IDK why but I think it looks better. How much did you pay for it to be painted?

 

I didn't do it yet. They will charge me $80 per wheel powdercoating with their stock colors. If I want Honda Italian Red like my fairings, then it will be $120 each, candy apple red will be $120.

I just did that color change in photoshop to see how it looks before I actually did it.

 

Black for sure! I never like colored rims to be honest. I even took my red rimstriping off recently (after nearly a year) because I thought it would look better (and it does).

Have you tried to remove the rimstriping in PS and see how it looks?

You know what you could do if you really feel like powder coating something? PC the passenger pegs and rearsets black. I just rattle canned my passenger pegs and it looks much better! They blend in better with the rest of the bike. I'm doing the rearsets soon.

 

Yeah I like the black better. The Red just seems a bit much in the picture.

Might look better in person but not a huge fan

 

No more passenger pegs on my bike. I might do the rearset when I take off the heatguard for paint. My contractor friend said he got something he use, which is similar to powdercoating. So I might try what he has on my spare rearset and see
