Rear Fender Help!
so when i bought my bike form this guy, he had taken the rear fender mount off (where the blinkers and license plate mount). Well, i need to put it back on to pass inspection and for the life of me, i cannot get the rear fender plastic off. i dont want to yank on them too hard...
i took the seats off, the bolts on the left and right side that mount to the rear fender and the two bolts under the rear seat off as well. now how do i get the fender off to screw in the license plate holder!? ahhh...
thanks!

Make sure all 4 are off unser the passenger seat ans the plastic clips are removed (this is on the 05/06, should be about the same).
You do have to stretch out the rear fender wuite a bit. Just pull both sides out atthe same time a few inches, pull towards the rear of the bike alittle and then up. You mayhave to twist it (as a whole) a little bit, but it will come off. Then you will seethe moutning for the License Plate fender.

that is kinda what i thought i was supposed to do.. i just was nervous (seeing that i just got the bike and all) that i was going to break a tab or the plastic and that would SUCK!... so, just stretch the sides a bit and pull it off towards the rear?
also, the 3 wires for the blinkers/license plate light just tuck up under the fender right?

Yeah, then up. towards the ceiling. They are quick release tabs you can undo the lights withm ans you will see a hook the connect to. Just make sure everything is disconnected.
