It really is the STEALERSHIP
I cant believe how some dealerships try to *** rape people, i called 2 different honda certified dealerships today and was floored at the difference in cost, they are about 20 miles apart and about $50 different.. The first one i called wants $150 + parts the other said $96 out the door.. They were both listed on the honda website.. Guess where i will be going.... Well happy 4th all and ride safe...

Did you ask what they did in the first service?
I know a few shops just do the oil change and you're out the door - other shops open her up and check thinks out (valves).

Do the oil change yourself and check all fasteners and coolant level etc. You'll get to know your bike better and save a ton of money.

RE: It really is the STEALERSHIP
average cost is like 180 bucks
all they do is look at the paint marks they make on all the critical bolts
as long as they line up a torque wrench never touches the bike
they then adjust the chain
ride it around the parking lot
and then bend you over
spend 40 bucks on a manual from ebay
then another 40 on oil and filter
and you are still ahead 100 bucks
