WOULD YOU BUY A KIT IF IT WAS OFFERED?

Alright, I've designed a front end mask for the 600RR dubbed the "Raccoon Mask". The inspiration was the 1000RR, but I did tweak it up quite a bit to give it a more aggressive appearance.

Question is.......I was thinking about having these made to sell. Before I do, would anyone here consider buying one? Of course, they would be made out of high-quality vinyl, pre-cut for the 05-06 600RR (one-piece), multiple colors, and would go for the $60-$80 or so range (unless I got a bitchin deal on the vinyl.)

Any takers? Call it "pre-market" testing if you will, here's some pictures of what it would look like. My bike is going to be the test mule:

whats the adhesive like, you got pictures espically of how smoth the transistion is between the paint job and the sticker

also I was trying to do something like this a while back on the tail piece but eith something clear to protect it from getting scratched when i put my tail bag on....... just another idear

so in other words yeah im kinda intersted

 

I think its a real good idea. I would buy one but I have the 05 tribal and dont know if it would look right on mine but if i had any other cbr i would definately buy that. Good job man.

blue fox.....what kind of front blinkers are those? Are the blue?

 

Definitely gives the bike a different look...i like it...but as MisterBasket stated, I've also got the 05' Tribal, but if you could come up with something for that, I would give it some good thought...ps.. nice job man.

 

It's sticky-backed vinyl that you peel off. You would use soapy-water to spray all over the painted surface, then you would press on the vinyl. Once you have it layed out correctly, you would press and smooth it. By pressing it, you would squeeze out the soapy-water, allowing the adhesive to make contact with the vinyl making a really smooth and finished bond.

 

The turnsignal lens are clear (but maintain the factory turnsignal housing). The bulbs are Sylvannia SilverStar bulbs. (Any Autozone, Orielly, Checker, etc. carries them). The bulbs have a blueish-green mirrored finish on them, but when lit, they light up amber. Thus, they are 100% DOT approved, so they are perfectly legal. I like them, but looking at some LED's now.

 

To answer you and MisterBasket:

Yeah, I don't know what that would look like on a tribal bike. I'll mess around with it and see if I can come up with a "Tribal Raccoon Mask". I'll get pictures of these up to give you guys an idea of what it looks like real soon.
