really? Because my entire life i have been riding some sort of motor/ sport vehicle... first i had a small dirt bike when i was younger. then i raced 4 wheelers for 3 years.. then i raced cars for 2 years. i went from a Kawasaki to a Suzuki.. to an 04 mustang mach 1.. pro charger P1SC supercharger, inter cooler... lowered, full kaminari body kit.. running 11 secs on street tires.. and still it wasn't enough.. i only have 1200 miles on my newest bike but it has been the best 1200 miles of my life.. '07 Blue/Silver CBR600RR.. cant go wrong.. hasn't gone wrong.. thats why i bought a bike..
I have always excelled on two wheels since the day I learned to ride bikes as a kid. In my early
years I was a factory BMX racer in sunny Southern California. My home track was in San Bernardino.
When I hit my twenties I started racing mtn bikes as the next progression. I was a professional in all three
areas, cross country, dual slalom & downhill. At 35 I can do things on bikes most teen agers can only dream of
doing. I have always followed the sportbike community, racing & the design of the bikes. A couple months ago
I started browsing inventory of local motorcycle shops & knew I would have a sport bike before too long. It
came down to the R6 & 600RR. Thru all my research & study of both bikes I knew I had to get the RR. Sitting
on the Honda just felt right. The timing just felt right. My bmx & mtn bikes are hanging up in the garage collecting dust.
The 2007 CBR600RR is the best sportbike Honda has ever produced. Now instead of pedealing I let the motor do the work.

I chose "To improve my riding skills" because that was closest...But that's not really IT.
Sport bikes are one of the best ways to meld man and machine.
You aren't "riding a bike" through the twisties...
YOU are flying through the twisties.
Sit-up heavy cruisers just don't do that for me.

i'm into sport bikes because they are the most fun to ride and fastest thing i can get my hands on. my first car was fast, but not fast enough. my second, third and fourth - same thing. fifth car was very fast...but not cbr600rr fast (except for top speed, which was faster). there's just something so sexy about these bikes, parked or in motion. i don't know how to answer your poll, but those are my feelings.
