as far as frame sliders go ...idk maybe they would have helped ...maybe they would have made it flip also so im still undecided on them ...

thanks for the concern i get to start the ins battle today yay!

in your decision whether to use sliders, most riders say go with vortex, which are great. but alsolook into woodcraft. they specially designed sliders for the 600rr as shorties,so they don't extend out as much asother sliders.woodcraft *says* they did that to minimize chances of flipping the bike over in afall because of the lower location of the engine on the rr compared to other bikes. you're bike is stilllooks great with its battlescars!

Dam that sucks glad your alright though.

Arent frame sliders made of delrin so that they slide and wouldn't flip the bike? First time ive heard of frame sliders causing a flip. Btw vortex makes shorty pucs as well i think its 1 1/4in.

bluej511-maybe they mean when the bike initially hits the ground to prevent it from flipping, thats why woodcrafts are shorter and, as you said, vortex offers shorties too.

i'm also curious about how thesetup boots hold up.

mmm i find that odd, i think if u fell the bar ends would make the bike flip first not the frame sliders. But then again there not made to save fairings but the frame haha

Sorry to hear this IROC. Glad you rode away from it though. A little gravel can't keep you down .
