The black RR has the UFO taillight which is built by the same manufacturer of the Proton flushmounts. The UFO taillight is programmable for taillight, brake light, and turn signal indicator lights. Basically, the UFO board is installed inside the OEM Honda taillight housing. Here is the website and info for the UFO taillight:

The red RR is the wife's bike. The only mods to the bike are the Zero Gravity double bubble dark smoke windscreen and the flushmounts. She won't let me do anything else to the bike. Go figure.

Both bikes are model year 2005.
We boughtthe black RR from a friend last August for $6500 - it had 900 miles on the clock. It now has something over 13k miles. The red RR was purchased with 3k miles on the clock a couple months ago from a dealership for $6100. We traded in the wife's 04 F4i and got $5500 for it as a trade-in- we paid $4800 for it six months prior.

Thanks for admiring the bikes - as you know, they are an addiction.

As far as brightness goes, how do the Protons compare to a Rizoma. I have the Rizoma Track01's and they are super bright. I'm considering Protons for my front and leaving the Track01's for the rear. Are the Protons near the same brightness as the Rizoma's?

Reason I'm swapping out the fronts is that I've killed two already by unkown reasons. One day they work - next they don't. I'm guessing water penetration since I live in Seattle.
