I say go for it if you like them. Yeah is gonna be a little heavier, but if only road ride...who cares...these things are beasts.

i agree...if you like them that much...then get them. however, on sports bikes...i don't prefer them...just because it doesn't look "sporty" to me.

 

they look good on cruisers and other non-performance bikes...but people still like to get them on sportbikes...which to me is very sad...because it means the bikes not going to be ridden like it wants to, but then again...who really cares right? people who drive race cars on the street or them souped up hardcore rockets rarely take them to the track or the canyons or anything...they just wait to get the looks and pick up chicks...which is all good by me...i just prefer not to pose.

hey on second thought...if you chromed your wheels and it takes much more to push them, kinda like setting mah steering damper to full everything...can you imagine how good you'll look? everytime you turn, it's like a work out mang!

 

So, basically what you're sayin Tahoe is that these sort of ppl are only posers, like the attention and don't ride all that much.... they just want to look pretty? With almost 3k miles in the last month and going thru a set of tires, I am certainly none of the above.

the question on everyones mind is HOW MUCH??? how much does it cost to send them off, get em chromed and get em back. just haveing the work done, not the upkeep cost.

 

i have a chrome sportceh wind screen and the silver and black looks sweet with chrome. Like the lady above, im not a poser, i enjoy 90 degree turns @ 50+mph. dragg'n a knee as much as the next fela. just like the look.
