problem uploading pictures

Default problem uploading pictures

I'm trying to upload a picture of my bike but it keeps telling me that the file is to large.
How did you guys post your pictures?

windows. could it be the amount of pix? i used a 4megapix digital camera. is there another format besides gif or jpg that i'm suppose to use?

There is like a 150k size limit. So they are probably too big and need to be scaled down. There are a million ways to do that but here is and easy one if you use Windows XP. Download Image Resizer this will put an image resize option when you right click on your photo to make is smaller.

Hey no problem. I don't know anything about bikes so when someone has a computer question I try to jump on it.

If nothing else you can always create an account on photobucket like I did.. Is free and you can store a lot of images on it.. then when you want to show someone your pics you can either link to it or put up the url to it and put the img tags on either side and it will show up clean as can be, good luck, cant wait to see your bike....
