Default Problem NO idea NEED HELP

my bike stopped running, it turns over and sounds healthy but fuel pumpisn't turning on. I checked the all the fuses and they are all good. I put a multimeter on the plug running to the fuel pump and when you turn the key on you are supposed to get 12v for a couple of seconds and then back down to 0. But i got a steady flow of 10 and doesn't drop back down to 0. This makes me think my pump is shot but at the same time why am im getting a reading of 10v and not 12v and why isn't it dropping back off to 0 after a few seconds. I did check the battery and the battery is giving me a full 12v. I am extremely frustrated a seriously bummed i can't ride. Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance one last thing this all started when I had to replace my front fairings and had to unplug a few plugs but all got plugged back it I have double even triple checked. Since then problem started

All ground wires are still intact or any wires being "pinched" by new fairings? I had some electrical problems with my old F4i, and I took the fairings off one day and noticed a wire was "pinched" and it was blowing fuseson me and such...I striaghtened it out and re-taped it and it was fine after that.

Of course I'm going to state the simplest, easiest thing to check. I hate to be "that guy" but did you check the engine kill switch? Figured I'd throw that out there.
