I'd reccomend doing all your other "power" mods first, then do the PC. You're going to have to get it dyno'd after the PC (well, you don't HAVE to, but you know), and you don't want to dyno the bike, then add a bunch of upgrades to it, cuz you'll want to dyno it again after that. Performance increase varies greatly depending on what your bike already has on it, and pre-post dyno.

I'm not 100% positive on this as a whole, someone else chime in if I'm goofy.

Yeah, that's a good in-between. You won't get the maximum performance out of your individual bike without a custom dyno, but you can get pretty close with all the maps that are out there.

Did they tune it too or just dyno it? The maps that dynojet provide for your "set up" always run rich for safety reasons. The bike will run good but won't get full performance capabilities out of it.

they put a custom map on it. i got 107.9 hp and 46 fpt to the wheel, what the guy does is get a map from power commander to just get it close then thats what he uses to work from. its like a template. works better then starting form nothing. it tokk them about a hour and ten or more pulls to squeeze the most performance out of the bike

How much Does a dyno tuning cost? I bought my 954 with a power commander III+ Micron pipe on it. Won't power up at all in second/won't clutch up in 3rd at all. Must be mapped wrong.
