I know I don't belong in here because I am an F4i guy, but i felt i would share this.

Last night i was watching "passtime" on the speed chanel, and for the final run they brought out a 600RR. For starters, the host made fun of the rider for wearing a jacket, but having on shorts and hightops, so i thought that was funny. then the guy told them all it was a 2007.. it wasn't, it was the generation before that.

anyway, he only managed to pull a 12.05... i'm pretty sure the stock 07's can do a 10.5, and i'm assuming the difference in speed didn;t vary THAT much in 1 year. just thought it was funny and i would share.

 

Christ, that whole scenario sounds awful. Running slow 1/4 miles with shorts, retards. Stock 07/08 do run mid 10's from the factory, and I do not think the previous generation was much slower at all.

one of my magazines got the 06 600rr to run a 10.49 stock. Im assuming the same goes for the 07...1/4 times for the different gens really dont change that much

Lol. I actually guessed he was going to run a 13 just because of his appearance/lack of experience. Very funny to watch, but I don't understand how people think that they aren't going to look stupid doing that for the first time on Passtime?
