Default paint or wax

whast up guys i got my bike traiered to ga from pa last week, loveing the riding weather down here, but... during transport i had a open trailer so for the first half of the trip the bike was covered w/ plastic and one of thoes blue tarps tied down over it, well when i took the tarp and plastic off for the second half of the trip i noticed that two of the metal rings on the tarp had made several ware marks in the front fairing. and the paint was discolored/faded looking in a couple places. i figure wax will fix the faded spots, but should i try to get touch up paint for the one deep gouge in the front? any info or advice on bodywork touch up would be great. if i had my digital camera on me i would post pics but i have not such luck. well thanks any advice is apreciated.[:@]

A little touch up paint should do the trick -- if you don't have a "pro" do it you'll still prolly notice it but it won't be as bad.

I dont know what color your bike is but you might want to try colored wax if its black or red
