Just curious what kind of manual came with the new CBR 600rr. Is it comprehensive, or just the basic crap? I guess what I really want to know is if I need to pick up a good manual, or if the one it comes with is fine? If I need to buy one, any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

 

Buy a Haynes or a Clymer buyt im sure your not gonna need to rebuild an engine right away but its better than the stock rag...

 

Ok, so the factory manual is just the basics I guess. I want something with comprehensive tear down/assembly for the bike. I like to do all my own work. Anyone used the Helm manuals? Those are the ones that Honda links to from thier website.

 

Yea the factory manual is pretty basic... oil change fairing remoaval etc..

Buy the service manual from Honda or on eBay or something, all you need.
