Guys keep in mind that this $8500.00 stuff does not include Tax, Title and all other statefees. I have seen someof the dealersnot add his Freight and Prep charges on untill you show up to pick it up. How pissed would you be then?I run the largest Honda Powerhouse dealer in central Texas and if you shop around you can find a great deal at any dealer. We dealers "ALL" pay the same cost. It is against the law for one dealer to get a better price then another from the factory. That is the truth.Just keep in mind when you get it back to your state youwill add about $800.00 to $1200.00 dollars to that price tag for these fees. If you are in Texas give me a call and I will show you a great deal on ANY HONDA you want. A true no BS out the door price with all fees.512-868-9944 Steve.

I show up with 8500 dollars and ride away. This is not the going price for an 07 from my dealer, but they owe me. I bought awatercraft from them and it had some sort of problem that they couldn't fix. I missedmost of the summer, but they eventually took back the used watercraft andgave me a brand new one.The ownersstill fill guilty about what happened. Italked to my salesman and asked him for an otd price. 8500 and all the goodies listed is what he came back with.

its difficult for me to believe that anyone can buy that bike with taxes, regi and etc for less than MSRP. even if the dealer bought the bike for 7k he wont let you leave without making 18-25% on top.
unless you live in a town that is populated only by your family and the community really needs your business; i dont see that happening. in my opinion, 9.5 up to 10k is a "fair" price.

Chopaleg is absolutely right. The OTD price at southern Honda in Chatanooga is without tax and title (which you won't have to pay if you are out of state). But $800-$1200 added is just wrong. My county's sales tax is 6% which works out to $504 tax. Add $25 for a title and you get a true cost of around $9000 for the new 07 600rr. Btw, Southern Honda charges absolutely no prep or doc fees whatsoever. I know because I've bought a bike from them before...

eric is right on. I bought my 06 1000RR there last March when they first came out and paid 9300 out there door. I then had to pay Ohio's 6.75% sales tax and title fees of about $38. I plan on going back this month to buy my wife a 2007 600RR so I can turn her 05 600RR into a dedicated track bike. I can't wait for my daughter to turn 16 and get her on the track. Then I will have a reason to buy another bike to add to the fleet. LOL

ok i think it's between $15 to $20 an hour but you $ has a higher value. so the bikes are all made for the same price so why do we pay double.
plus we have these ridiculous transferduties that we have to pay, $8 for every $200 of the purchase priceplus registration and compulsary insurance $450
