Nice bike!
I have Progessive insurance, used the discount from Honda. $672 per year for two bikes, full coverage. Farmers (Foremost) wanted $2,500 for both. I put frame sliders on the rear to serve as both a frame slider and stand holder (spools). Upfront I cut holes in the fairing and attached frame sliders that go on the engine mount bolts. No way of getting around cutting holes in the front fairing that I know of.
Good luck with the bike. I think the CBR600RR is one of the sweetest rides I have ever owned.

I have the same bike.....new in January...nearing 4,500 miles.....wearing a new set of Michelin Pilot Powers but otherwise stock.
Best thing I did was to buy Keith Codes' book "Twist of the Wrist 2" . I don't know your experience level, but seek good guys to ride with and take it easy until you really, really know the bike well. It is not a called a "wrist launched, gas powered, corner seeking, street missile" for nothing! Congratulations! I consider it a privilege to own such a fine machine and so drive it so as to keep it and me in one piece.....watch for the left turners!
Oh! yeah! ALWAYS, ALWAYS wear your gear.....

RE: newb with a new bike-
Insurance wise, I pay 72.50/month through State Farm for full-coverage, also have my car (which they require to insure a bike) under liability-only (older car) for 34.50/mo. I'm 23 and live in southern NM, which can make a difference on insurance prices.
Frame slider wise, I hear about Vortex quite a bit, but I use Lightning Performance Products frame sliders. Never heard of them, and I was a little reluctant to install them on my bike, but the dealer I bought my bike from (owner is now a good family friend), recommended these. When my bike was knocked over, these sliders absorbed the impact because they're made of a plastic-composite like material that doesn't catch the road surface if the bike slides out from underneath you. When my bike was knocked over, I only got a scratch on my rear seat cowl because I didn't have swingarm spools. Installed those, so hopefully they'll help next time if it happens again.
Hope this helps man, good luck with the bike, look's nice.
