the strada is a hyper-performance tire. it will wear quickly down the center if all you do is commute. but to answer your question yes they do stick very well after you warm them up nice, which doesn't happen often on commutes.

Have you even read anything about the Diablo Strada? It is a sport TOURING tire, and as such it will last LONGER than a tire designed for a super sport, such as the standard Diablo, Pilot Powers, or Qualifiers, and I have run all of those on my bikes.

You want another opinion? Here is a review:

How about the fact that they are listed and advertised as an "Extended milage sport tire".

Not my words there bro.

Want another review?

The guy asked for opinions on tires. Tires that he can get some milage out of while commuting. I gave an answer based on my own experience as well as that of many others. You, on the other hand, obviously don't know WTF you are talking about when it comes to tires, and you just proved that.

I went to Pirelli Motorcycle website and clicked on Hypersport tyres. Diablo Strada is on that list.

You are also looking at a UK web site. Tires for Europe are different than tires for the states. That site does not even differentiate from sport touring and sport.

Another good tire for longer milage is the Metzeler Z6 by the way, but it's more tour than sport.

Thanks guys. I dont mind paying a lil extra for a tire that i will get more miles out of. I think meanstrk proved his point pretty well, so i will probably take that advice. Stay safe guys.

Please be sure to give a review on them after you run them for a while and let us know how you like them. Make sure you take it easy on them when new as well since new tires are slick until you get some heat into them!
