Default New and need help

i just went out and bought my first bike yesterday and everything seemed fine. last night i was driving it for maybe 5 minutes when i had it stopped in a parking lot for maybe two minutes than i got back on (never turned it off) started to drive off when it just shut off. tried unsuccessfully multiple times to get it started. all lights worked but it just wouldnt start, finally someone suggested to do a rolling start and after two tries it worked, what do you think the problem is? the bike is a 2006 cbr600rr with only 900 miles on it. any information would be helpful, thank you in advance.

Did you stall it or shut of while riding. I know from experience that sometimes, when you stall it, it doesn't want to start back up, and you have to actually give it some throttle while starting it to get it running again (It's happened to me a couple times.)

If it died while just riding, that's another story. Was it cranking over, or doing nothing?

Couldbeit needs some assisted starting, like Blue suggested, a fuse, or a rectifier. However, if everything is lighting up, I dont think it would be a rectifier. You may have drained the battery enough where is cannot charge itself.

Sometimes its the easy stuff, thats what I always check first. Learned my lesson about that when I tried to put my bike in gear once and it would shutdown.... kickstand lol.
