Hi all, I am new to this forum.

I am shopping around for '08 cbr600rr in Los Angeles area. I checked out 3 dealers in my area and the lowest quote for a red & black is 9700 OTD.

I was hoping that the OTD price would be 9000 or less. Is this a bad time to buy a new bikeor am i getting ripped off?

Kind of frustrated!!!

 

Hate to be negative, but it probably is the worst timeto buy. Spring time.

 

OTD will not be lower than MSRP on a new bike in the current year.

 

You could look into the 07's which are the same as the 08's, unless you had your heart set on one of the new 08 paint schemes

 

i just got my '07 for $8999 OTD..

 

Got my 08 for $9599 OTD

 

If you're anything like me, if youhave your heart set onsomething you want in NOW!! but i would definately take a look at the RR7 also. Test drive them both and if you still want the RR8 then i'd go for it but just try to look for the best deal.
