So first off im a new member here, HI all!! Second I went to look at the 08 Graffiti about 2 weeks ago and well lets just say at the end of the month it will be mine. (gotta get that down all ready) Anyways this will be the first time buying new/from a dealer. Could anyone give me some tips on what to ask for, what to expect, etc.... Im not new to riding just new to dealers. Should I be expecting to be able to ride it off the lot, or wait a few days. (they do have quite a few in stock)My main thing is I would like to get a helmet and gloves thrown in on the deal.

A little info abot me, I live in SoCal (OC) and back when I first started to ride, I rode a 82-83 Suzuki GS1100E (huge bike for a 18yr old thats never riden b4). ANYWAYS Thanks ahead of time for any input you can throw me.

Moe

They will push it out the front door for you ready to ride!!!

Just make sure you make it clear that you arnt walking out of there unless they give you the helmet and gloves. Shouldnt be hard to get, especially the way the economy is, they are probably hurting for a sale.

Good luck!

HAHAHA thanks for the replys already, Think I could get a decent Jacket with some armor in it, or is that just asking for to much? Ive looked around on this forum as well as some others and have yet to find a OTD price for a SoCal 08. Ive seen some at 10,500 but im thinking 500 for tax lisence and reg is a bit cheap, You guys offer any more OTD prices?

Out the DoorMotorsports (otdcyclesports.com) usually has the best prices for California, though from time to time a dealer will beat their prices, like in my case. Right now they have the graffiti for $9399 OTD. You'll probably get a better deal on ebay for gear after you figure out what exactly you want...unless you want that financed as well. You might want to go to your local dealer and haggle over price with them, then after they tell you nobody will do whatever deal you want, show them the proof from OTD Motorsports and see what they say.

im in central cali and paid 10,250 otd didnt get anything thrown in just fat *** markdowns on all my gear!! did have to haggle even to get it that low but it is 1k less than they were asking!! oh and i took different prices to my local dealer and told me if that was a real price i better not pass it up cus theres no way they could match it, so that wont always work. i would definetly go to otd motorsports if what Papi is saying is real.

I did go to the website, Filled out their quick little questionare thing for a quote and got a decent quote, hell its better than the MSRP. So now Im waiting on there Loan App, LOL, We will see how that goes in the morning when my phone goes off. Thanks Papi, Atleast with that email I can now go back to the dealer that can finance my bad credit and be like " For this price I could go here, But I think your cool, so you will atleast throw in some gear and take that crate fee off" Thanks for all your help fellas, I hope to be riding again in the near future.
