WOW. I hope they get that stuff out soon, that's extremely revolutionary. A jacket with that material sewn in, and it'll look like a regular jacket.

This is nothing NEW. BRP has been using this with their ATVs for a while now. they use it in their Four Wheel Drive system to detect and correct wheelspin. ViscoLock is what i think they call it.
