RE: NEW TO GROUP
Welcome to the forum man.
Since you are new to riding, BE EXTREMELY CAREFUL on your 600RR man. I agree with Slugger, a 600RR is not a learning bike, it's an advanced bike built for the track first, street second. Just be careful on it. (At least you took an MSF course, so I can't flame you too much, LOL!!!)
Anyway, be safe. Where's the pictures of her? I want to see. - - Good luck in Guam, (military I take it?)

RE: NEW TO GROUP
thanks for the advice. im still learning alot and have been riding with some guys from work when time permits. other than that the old girl stays parked and looking pretty!. i know my limits, and i know this bike is a beast, and thats why i picked it. my kids keep me well grounded though so i dont get crazy. i also know i can only control myself, and not the idiots in the cars! but once again thanks for the welcome, and i appreciate any and all advice. ill get some pics up in the very near future.
