Love the bike! Kind of wish I went the with the blue. Yes, you'll be fine. I've been riding dirt bikes for a while and this was my first street bike. The transition was not that difficult. Good luck!

I have been riding sport bikes for a while when i tried to ride a dirt bike it was completly different because of the turning i just could not get used to stick out my leg i looked like an idiot lol i think its much harder going from street bike to dirt bike for the first time.

Yes it is, especially in turning. Try and go 70mph and lean on a dirt bike to turn and you'll be in trouble. It took me a little bit to trust the lean on my street bike, but I'm loving it now.
