N00b MOVE?!
So over the weekend I went back home from college and decided to take the warning stickers off in preperation for Daytona Bike Week. Anyhow, in the event of doing so, ii was contemplating taking off the VIN number sticker n ii sed "wat thehek, it shudmake it look cleaner."With the that the VIN # shud also b ingraved on the engine like on a car engine ii TOOK it OFF.
Was thisa VERY stupid MOVE?!Dont scold me too harshly...
Also if it was a wrong move can I get it put bak on?!

Yes on both counts... The VIN# is etched on the right side of the steering head. and it was a very bad moove to remove the (required by law) VIN sticker from the frame not to mention the resale value can go through the floor if you've got a suspect looking VIN sticker, (the sticker is a lot harder to fake, than the etching on the steering head)and the POPO can use it as an excuse to give you a LOT of fuss if they feel like it.
If you can... I'd put it back on, or at the very least, put it with your registration papers and carry it with you when you ride.

Well apart from taking the VIN sticker off for Bike week...it was also for the reason that more xperienced ppl tend to tell the Noobs(me) "o, and take of all those warning stickers, NOW!" So ii thought it was just another sticker in which was "labeled" as warning sticker...
Good thing is....I DID KEEP MY STICKERS!! I stuck them all on a Xerox paper..so ii will ride with it!
Im kinda pissed ii took it off! but Thnx tho!

I kept mine on and had a friend that works in the screen printing bitness get me some vinyl that looked the same color as my frame. Cant even tell a sticker is there unless you are looking.
