Isn't that some B/S i come back from Iraq and buy a brand new 07 67 miles later the F'ingthing breaks down the low oil pressure light came on some how the timingh chain slipped off and there for the oil pump was not sending oil to the engine chewed it all up i have the 373 600 made off of the production line. it's been 3 F'ing weeks and the dealership is doing everythign they can to get it fixed faster but Corperate Honda is trying to figure out how it happened...and before anyone thinks it I was not messing around those 67 miles were so babied its not even funny no wheelies no burn outs no racing just normal criusing. Thank god it's all covered under warranty but they are replacing basically the whole engine new caseing crank bearings the works. Honda refuses to give me a new bike stateing it is for this reason we have a warranty to replace parts does anyone know the Lemon laws for NY??? Any advice except waiting it out to get my bike back... Has anyone else had problems with there 07 600?

 

wow that sucks man ive had my 07 for about a month now and i havent had any problems at all. at least they are gonna fix it, its less money out of you pocket. i guess i would just wait it out if they are gonna do it for free. you cant beat free. hope everything come out well for you. good luck and safe riding.

Wel they have already told me that I'm not at fault it is obviously a manufacturer defect but I just want my bike back!!!!!!

 

i understand. as much money as you pay for the bike you would think they would do it right the first time. i guess just wait it out. the only thing they can do is make it better from what you have now.

Hope that doesn't happen to my bike. I've got 25 miles on it so far, lol. I'm sure you'll have it back soon, and be back on the road. Just hang in there...

 

That sucks man... At least Honda is doing their part and repairing everything.


I dont know the Lemon Law for NY, but here in cali it takes 3 repair attempts before its considered a lemon (I think..... I could be wrong).

 

and... I just checked... here in cali, its based off of a "reasonable amount of attempts"

On that page, it shows that 4 or more attempts, or 30 calendar days in the shop are needed prior to be considered a lemon.

 

dude that blows... ive got alittle under 100 miles on my 07 and no problems... could it have been that it wasnt setup correctly before you took delivery?? good luck and keep us posted.....

wow that blows. i have about 220 miles on my 07 and no problems.. it was probably assembled wrong at the dealership.
