I just find it tidies up the look when they're removed. I took mine off and put them on a piece of paper incase I ever needed to look at them again, although all the info on them is in the owners manual anyways.

Nice looking bike! I also voted for you on botm! Blue is my favorite color so I'm a little partial to it already. My rr is blue as well....if mine weren't done in the candy tahitian blue and chrome accents I would definitely consider doing what you've done to mine. Like most others said...it's been tastefully done. Good job!

Default painting

Hey I'm a new one on this site. Had my CBR for about 9 months now...Planning to repaint mine. You did an awesome job!!! What type of paint did you use for fairings? And how did u get it so shiny?

I tried painting my bike when i first got it and not sure i used the right type of paint or the way i did was wrong but somehow the paint kept wrinkling up. I dont know why that happened. I rough sanded the old paint job, then wet sanded it, and then cleaned and spray painted it. Can you tell me what I did wrong??
