my 600 rr wont pop up in first or second.
Can't wheelie the 600? Well, allow me to rub some salt into that open wound of yours...

Nice Onarom...Your signature quote is sweet.. Anyways...Yes mine comes up pretty nice without clutching it. But the clutch comes out when there are hot chicks around, and my wife is'nt! lol
My 07 won't come up in first without me dumping the clutch... and if we're talking power wheelies, it will only "bounce" up for a second when I shift hard into second (drag-strip). Now... can it come up? Yes... but I ride heavy on the tank, and my "throttle control" that is my "I ride on the streets" automatic mindset steers my hand to back of a tiny bit when the front gets light. I'm working on it though!
Yes, power wheelies on my '07 in 1st are very easy without pulling on the bars. Wheelies aren't something to rush into though. Get a feel for your clutch and throttle control from everyday riding for a bit first. While you may look "cool" on one wheel, it can get you in a heep of trouble on public roads.
First gearis really a harsh upand super touchywhen you pop the clutch and on the trottle... i usualy start in second hit about 40-45 mph rev it up pop the clutch and up you go...but get used to your bike's throttle and tire wear, also make sure you have warm tires ive notice when i pop it up to soon into a ride the bike's tire slips if it's not warm enough...but then it's alaska so not warm all the time...
Everytime I read a post about people asking how to do wheelies, I usually don't reply. Because a week later, there's another thread that gets posted up about how it all went horribly wrong.
Bikes were never built to do wheelies, so be warned, you can f**k up a lot of s**t learning them. A guy here in town had a brand new 08 R6.......it was totalled from a 35 mph wheelie gone wrong. So I would learn on a beater bike.......or dirt bike before just pulling up the handlebars on a $10,000 bike.

+1
i am actually looking for a cheap dirt bike to buy so i can "F" it up althoughi can power wheelie in first but it is way to early for me to start popping my clutch!

I can tell you just by reading your posts to not even try one. Seriously. WTF is reefing the bars, or yarding them??????
But if you don't care if you wreck, go 15-20, pull the clutch in with 2 fingers, and dump it first at 6k, then 8k, etc., until it gets up to where you want it. That will help you get the feel of the bike coming up on you so you don't panic.
"bouncing" is a horrible technique to use, the front comes up much faster on you. I would suggest learning to clutch, and I think alot of people will agree.
Again though....You're probably not ready by your questions man. No offense.....

I should have kept my "beater" to practice on... not sure what Iw as thinking when I sold it....
Next up... I'm concidering getting a "fiddy" and "stunting" that thing. They're harder to break and you go slower... you still ride wheelies and still have fun, but it's not a $10K machine that I'm still making payments on.
