For a girl's view...I have to agree that as much as concern for your safety is understood, making you choose isn't right. It's healthy to have your own hobbies. Ideally she'll appreciate and maybe wanna ride herself... If she does not and continues to give you an ultimatum, might be time to find someone that will love you for you, or maybe even someone that loves riding already!
would have to agree. just for your safety... in the long run if you have a family and you still ride, that's putting a huge aspect of the family in risk.... but since she's your girlfriend... she shouldn't make you choose !!! hahahaha gotta find a girl that understands your needs goodluck!

I showed her these responses. She thinks everyone is biased on here. Anyway, it worked. I'm running the show again.

Thx

Y'all should have seen my buddy's fiance tonight. She just about shot fire out of her mouth when my he mentioned riding again in the spring. He recently went down and has not fixed his bike yet. I would have said something, but she was about ready to murder him herself for even suggesting that. I didn't bother saying anything cause I didn't feel like taking her on with everyone in the room. I felt bad for him because I couldn't provide support at the time. [:@]

It's all about money. You have kids, you crash and die on the bike, who pays for the kids? Simple math. Mystery solved.

You'd better make sure that if you are a family person and ride you have Aflac and a life insurance policy. The policy had better provide for your offspring all the way through college and for your significant other. It's consideration for those you love.
